More than 7,000 Matthews bronze castings comprise the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority’s entrance façade and doorway. Measuring more than 100 feet high by 30 feet wide, this is considered to be the largest architectural use of bronze.

Matthews worked with sculptor Peter Calaboyias to create the 17-foot high bronze fan portion of the Olympic sculpture in Centennial Park that is credited with saving many people’s lives when a bomb spread metal debris over a 100-yard radius of the park during the 1996 Summer Olympics.
